Do your lawmakers support cyber charter schools wasting $35 million school tax dollars on advertising?

Right to Know requests recently revealed that Pennsylvania's cyber charter schools wasted more than $35 million on advertising over the past two school years. And the state has never audited most of these schools.

Some state lawmakers are fighting for charter school reforms that would create meaningful accountability for charter schools. They want to match charter school tuition payments with charter schools' actual costs to reduce excess payments to charters that are then wasted on advertising, lavish CEO salaries, real estate deals, parade balloons, and more.

Other lawmakers are blocking these reforms. And they think that their constituents don't notice what they do when they go to Harrisburg.

Send a quick letter to your state lawmakers to ask them where they stand on this issue. If they are not supporting charter school reforms to match tuition payments with charters' actual costs, their constituents should know this.
