The Somerville Redevelopment Authority is holding a public hearing to discuss the Master Land Disposition Agreement (MLDA) for Union Square, which authorizes the City to sell the development parcels to US2. The MLDA puts the City at financial risk to subsidize US2’s future development, and it does not include any requirement to negotiate a community benefits agreement. Tell the SRA that they cannot pass the MLDA without a commitment to community benefits from US2!
