Don’t Buy into Genocide

The Don’t Buy into Genocide campaign is focused on supermarkets and retail shops. It is a call on them to stop stocking Israeli goods and products.

We are also asking customers to utilise their purchasing power to boycott these goods and products, and to pressure supermarkets and retail shops.

The International Court of Justice is investigating Israel for genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The Genocide Convention does not explicitly exclude corporate liability for complicity in genocide. Corporations can be held liable for aiding, abetting, or contributing to genocidal acts.

Israel’s violations of Palestinian rights are not restricted to Gaza; they are violating the rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel and have escalated land theft and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank, illegally occupied according to international law. Companies have a responsibility to cease any activity or cut financial ties that could contribute directly or indirectly to ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli authorities.

Write to supermarket CEOs to ask them to stop stocking Israeli goods.
