We, the student body at UIUC, urgently demand the severance of all ties to the war machine.

While UIUC is actively partnering with the Department of War to advance weapons manufacturing, the Zionist entity’s hundred-year-long colonial project continues to occupy Palestinian land and torture and genocide Palestinian life. By contributing $9 million worth of resources and research to strengthen military supply lines, drones, armored vehicles, and other tools of violence, UIUC faculty participating in this research are not just complicit in ethnic cleansing; they are directly facilitating it. Students must recognize that our campus thrives on the profits of the military-industrial complex, turning academia into machinery for genocide. We must hold the University and its constituents accountable. Drop the research, end the war machine.
