The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) bills itself as a "civil rights organization" but it is NOT an ally to movements dedicated to justice and equity for communities of color, and especially not for Muslims, Arabs and Palestinians.

Regardless, many stakeholders in government and educational spaces find themselves in spaces with the ADL, using its anti-bias education materials, or counting on it for political support. In light of an understanding of the ADL’s discriminatory and dangerous positions, a growing number of institutions are rethinking those relationships.
