Washtenaw County is considering a proposal from GFL to build a New Landfill just north of the existing Arbor Hills landfill. If the landfill is approved, it will be a scar on our horizon for generations. The existing Arbor Hills landfill has caused our community problems for decades. The latest issue is elevated temperatures in the landfill. Elevated temperatures can easily lead to very dangerous subsurface landfill fires.

We must convince the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners to deny GFL's proposal.
