Email the PWC Board of Supervisors - No Dominion Power Lines through Carver Road

In the picture above 91 year old Aunt Dollie has lived on Carver Road all her life. She and her nephew, Nathan Grayson (helping her) can trace their roots back past 1860's. Both of their homes are threatened.

The Prince William NAACP Political Action Committee requests your help by contacting the Prince William County Board of Supervisor members (PWCBOS) and urge the Supervisors to support the Carver Road residents and not allow Dominion Energy to run their power lines through Carver Road. Send your letter now! Then join us on Tuesday, 18July!

These decedents of slaves do not want the lines going through their beautiful, historic neighborhood. These power lines will threaten homes, schools, businesses and even the historic Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, founded in 1877.

They took our homes and land back in the 1960’s using eminent domain laws which led to the disruption and displacement of thousands of African American families. Not again!!! Tell them the more suitable route would be the Hybrid I-66 route. Leave this historic black community alone!

!!!TAKE ACTION!!!

We will hold a press conference and speak to the PW Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, 18JULY at 1:30pm Please Join Us!!
