It’s been more than four months since Hurricanes Laura and Delta laid waste to Southwest Louisiana, but thanks to Insurance Purgatory, many residents and business owners are still in limbo, unable to rebuild and unsure of when or if they’ll ever get their lives back to normal.

The hurricane victims in Southwest Louisiana are facing this dilemma now, but the next natural disaster could strike any region of Louisiana. Any of us could find ourselves in the same situation.
