The Korean American Peace Fund (KAPF) invites you to join our 2026 Times Square Peace Campaign and raise your voice for peace.

For more than 70 years, the Korean War has never officially ended. Although active fighting stopped with the 1953 Armistice Agreement, a permanent peace agreement has never been achieved. H.R. 1841, the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act, calls for renewed diplomatic engagement and efforts to formally end the Korean War through peaceful dialogue. (GovInfo⁠)

This year’s campaign carries a broader message:

“End All War”

As wars and armed conflicts continue to devastate communities around the world, we believe humanity must choose dialogue over violence, diplomacy over war, and cooperation over conflict.

The human cost of war is heartbreaking. The conflicts in Gaza, Ukraine, and the recent military confrontation involving Iran have claimed an estimated more than 500,000 lives, while hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent on military operations—resources that could instead have supported education, healthcare, economic opportunity, and human development.

To amplify this message, KAPF is launching the 3rd Times Square Peace Campaign in one of the world’s most visible public spaces. Our first two campaigns have reached more than 400,000 viewers, and this year’s campaign aims to inspire an additional 200,000 people to stand for peace.

As part of this initiative, our campaign video and message will be delivered to every member of the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.
