Eviction Relief Bill
Operation Metro Surge was and continues to be a crisis for the working class. Working families across the state have been without income for two or three months because it was safer to stay home or because work was unavailable as a direct result of the surge.
As April looms, countless families are struggling to pay rent and facing the threat of eviction. Hyperlocal neighborhood rent funds are becoming exhausted after over two months of crowdfunding. We cannot crowdfund our way out of a crisis that was caused by the violence of our federal government - we need action from our elected officials. Democrats in both the House and Senate have introduced policies that would extend the pre-eviction notice and provide emergency rental assistance.
Email your elected officials below to ask them to support those policies now. Thank you for continuing to fight for our neighbors as we all collectively recover from this crisis.
