Earlier this year the Salisbury City Council unanimous adoption of Resolution no. 2022-4 – a charter amendment that clears the way for City employees to organize and bargain collectively through representative employee organizations of their choosing.  This decision was a major victory for the Progressive movement and working Salisbury families.  

However, now the City of Salisbury is currently in labor negotiations with our brothers and sisters in AFSCME and two other local unions. There has been a major point of contention in adding in working conditions to their City Labor Code.
