Leader was placed on leave just days after speaking out against GEO Group and ICE’s 287(g) program on campus. The official reason? Reposting criticisms of Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric. She maintains she never commented on his death, only his public statements.

FAU promotes itself as one of the most diverse universities in the nation. Silencing faculty who defend diversity and free inquiry undermines those very values.

Tell FAU leadership: Reinstate Dr. Karen Leader and the other professors also put on leave and end politically motivated investigations.
