The NDP is facing a serious internal democratic crisis over a stunningly sloppy vetting process that excluded a major campaign to lead the party.

One of the claims used to justify Yves Engler’s exclusion from the race relied on a social media post from an impersonation account. Rather than addressing the sloppy and undemocratic vetting decision, the party’s National Director has circulated an internal email to Federal Councillors minimizing member opposition to the decision. Please email the Federal Council to demand they investigate the decision and stand up for members’ right to decide who leads the NDP.
