If you work in a federal prison, love someone who does, or believe in safe and secure institutions, this affects you. If the order stands, we lose:

-The ability to bargain over working conditions

-We’ve fought for life-saving safety equipment like stab vests, pepper spray, and Narcan

-Legal protections against unsafe practices

-We’ve backed bipartisan bills to stop contraband phones, drones, and other threats

-A union that defends whistleblowers and checks corruption

-We push Congress to fix broken systems in the First Step Act, staffing, security, medical care, and infrastructure

-A voice to stop fraud, waste, and abuse

-We flagged wasteful spending in things like the agency’s ACA program review process, building contracts, inmate medical care, and we’ll do it again.

-No union means more danger, for staff, inmates, and the public.
