Fire JSO Officer Justin Peppers for Racist Brutality!
TELL SHERIFF WATERS that you are appalled by the recently reported incident of “unbecoming conduct” by a JSO officer which is further evidence of racism and brutality in the ranks of JSO.
Kelly Frazier, President of the Northside Coalition of Jacksonville, said:
“Officer Justin Peppers must be immediately removed from duty. Sheriff TK Waters is putting the public in danger by having this officer remain on the force after he has 'demonstrated a history of repeated infractions of JSO orders.' The Sheriff has said only illegal behavior will get an officer removed from duty and that is unacceptable and shows a lack of accountability in JSO. Peppers has not learned from his mistakes. His behavior will eventually cause a lawsuit that will cost taxpayers money. We must move to eradicate the culture of racial discrimination and brutality at JSO.”
