Free Ramiro Santiago Pacheco Ramirez – Detained By ICE While Picking up Medication in Pomona
On November 13, a day laborer, father of two U.S. citizens, and beloved member of the Pomona community, was detained by federal agents while walking to pick up his medicine for his life-threatening condition, pneumonia. Ramiro, A# 240-500-216, is a peaceful person with no criminal record and is a beloved day laborer member of the Pomona Economic Opportunity Center.
His fragile health is rapidly declining, and he is now being held at the Desert View Detention Center. We are calling on ICE to immediately release Ramiro so he can go back to his medical treatment plan.

✅ Ramiro must be freed now — he poses no threat, and his life is at risk in detention.
✅ Immigrant communities have a right to walk the streets without fearing racial profiling. ✅ Our community stands with dignity, not deportations.
Let’s raise our voices to say: No one should be detained based on the language they speak, the job they hold, or the color of their skin.
