In March 2025 the College signed a memorandum of understanding that it would negotiate a free SEPTA pass benefit for all CCP students. Seven months later, a free SEPTA pass benefit still does not exist, and the College has instead chosen to negotiate transit passes that fewer than 3% of students would be eligible for: they have planned to only offer free transit passes to 278 students in January - less than half of all students who are enrolled in courses at CATC.

Now is the time to tell CCP President and Board of Trustees that CCP students organized for over a year and thousands signed a petition for free SEPTA passes. Faculty and staff were ready to strike to win SEPTA passes for all students. We won't give up now!
