Fund the St. Johns Fire Station & CEI Hub Safety

Image says Take Action! Fund St. Johns Fire Station and CEI Hub Safety
By Braided River Campaign

The CEI Hub fuel tanks on the Willamette River in NW Portland are too dangerous. They can store up to 350 million gallons of flammable, toxic fuels near Forest Park just across the river from St. Johns, Cathedral Park, and University Park.

Tell Mayor Wilson and City Councilors to fund safety measures for children, elders, and people with disabilities, who live and work within two miles of the CEI Hub. Protect Forest Park from burning to the ground.

(1) Keep funding for Fire Station 22 in St. Johns.

(2) Secure staffing to plan, implement, and maintain emergency plans.

(3) Establish an early warning system for incidents and hazards associated with the CEI Hub.

(4) Establish dependable evacuation and access routes within the CEI Hub and surrounding neighborhoods.
