Fund SNAP and Continue Vital Aid to the Hungry
On November 1, food and nutrition assistance for nearly 43 million people—including children, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities—will stop if Congress and the Administration fail to act immediately. In just one week, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will run out of funding, causing widespread hunger, forcing families to skip meals, and putting vulnerable people at risk of illness and malnutrition.
