We are No Pride in Genocide, a grassroots collective of LGBTQ+ individuals from across Glasgow, who stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and align ourselves with the struggle for liberation and justice worldwide.

Over 18 months into the genocide in Gaza we are outraged at Glasgow Pride Ltd’s continued “proud” partnerships with companies complicit in Israel’s occupation, Apartheid and genocide of the Palestinian people including LGBTQ+ Palestinians.

Following the dismissal of our demands and more importantly the call from Palestinians to boycott complicit companies and organisations, we were pleased to see so many local queer groups and individuals withdraw their participation from the official Glasgow Pride events in 2024 with thousands choosing instead to march in outrage with us behind the official procession.

We have met with a variety of LGBTQ+ organisations who are unhappy with the direction of Pride Glasgow and collectively are calling on Pride Glasgow to take clear and actionable steps. We are now asking community members to join our call for a Pride that centres justice, equality and solidarity.
