The Refugee & Immigrant Solidarity Coalition (RISC) is leading a letter-writing campaign to urge city councils across Hampton Roads to adopt a resolution that supports inclusivity for all residents, condemns xenophobia and all other forms of hate, and acknowledges the vital contributions of local immigrant communities.

This resolution is a nonpolitical and nonpartisan stand against the bigotry that threatens local communities. By sending a letter to city council members, you can demonstrate that Hampton Roads is an inclusive place that welcomes people from all different backgrounds.

Your participation will spread our collective message: we value all members of our community, and we reject all forms of hate. It is critical that we stand with our immigrant neighbors amid rising xenophobia.
