Healthcare Workers Against Censorship: Meeting with Wes Streeting and the GMC
Healthcare Workers Against Censorship has sent an urgent letter to Health Secretary Wes Streeting, demanding an end to censorship and political interference targeting healthcare workers who speak out in solidarity with Palestinians during an ongoing genocide. The letter responds to his recent remarks undermining the independence of healthcare regulators and claiming that he will bypass due process to persecute HCWs. HAC calls for an urgent meeting with him and the GMC to address these serious concerns.
The letter has been supported by Gaza volunteers, frontline HCWs, and groups like HW4P, Doctors Against Genocide, and CAGE International.
