Help advance the California Wildlife Coexistence Act

California needs a proactive, compassionate approach to wildlife coexistence.

SB 1135, the California Wildlife Coexistence Act, would help establish a coordinated statewide framework for preventing and reducing conflict between people and wildlife through science-based, nonlethal solutions informed by Indigenous knowledge.

The bill is currently on the Assembly Appropriations suspense file. Please contact Committee Chair Buffy Wicks and urge her to release SB 1135 so it can advance to the Assembly floor.
