New Jersey has accomplished an intergenerational goal of including climate change throughout K-12 curriculum across disciplines. This is a tremendous win for a coastal state warming remarkably quickly! To be prepared for the ongoing response to climate emergency, we must support educating students of all levels and disciplines, including Math and English language arts. An effort opposing this standard inclusion of climate change in these critical disciplines has arisen and we must use our voices NOW. May our spiritual message of moral courage toward environmental justice be loud and clear!
