Help Stop the Mail Slowdown

Our Revolution and Our Revolution Maryland are closely allied with the American Postal Workers Union and its efforts to improve and expand US Postal Service. Unfortunately, Trump appointee Postmaster General Louis Dejoy's destructive actions continue.

He is now pushing to increase the expected delivery time of first class mail from three days or less to five. For people - especially in rural communities - who rely on the mail to receive needed medications or pay their bills in a timely fashion - delivery delays could prove costly or even deadly.

Here's what you can do:

Submit your comments into the Federal Register for consideration by the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) before it issues a final decision. We ask you to complete the form at right (on your computer) or below (on your phone or hand-held device). We have included recommended language. Please feel free to send as is or personalize if you prefer. Submissions received by May 28th must be reviewed by the PRC. Submission received by June 22nd will be maintained by the USPS. While the PRC may not be moved by our comments, Congress could stop or reverse any changes and we are optimistic that personal stories may have an impact.
