Kevan and his brother Miran, currently incarcerated in HMP Whitemoor, have been prevented from seeing each other for years despite the prison system being required to facilitate inter-prison visits and phone calls.

Being deprived of seeing his close relatives is exacerbating the harsh conditions in Manchester faced by Kevan, that in turn is affecting his mental health severely.
