Take action now for Ryan Roberts!

Ryan has a debilitating cough and is experiencing tight chest pain and breathing difficulties affecting his ability to talk or function. This is accompanied by a persistent migraine. All of these are clinical red flags that the prison healthcare department needs to take action immediately.

Ryan has asthma which puts him at higher risk of respiratory infections. He has not seen a GP for several weeks and needs urgent medical attention.

We are requesting that the prison organises:

• An urgent assessment with a GP

• Further diagnostic tests

• Appropriate medication or treatment determined by the above

• A kettle for Ryan's cell to enable him to self-medicate with warm drinks to help relieve coughing
