Karook Abdullah (prisoner number: A0909AT) is held in the torturous conditions of the segregation unit of HMP Swaleside. He has been beaten, withheld food (he has celiac disease, and is being given the wrong meals) and is facing racial and religious assaults by a neighbouring prisoner. The prison fuels these racial and religious assaults from prisoners onto other prisoners as a tactic of division and harm.
