We are over 240 days into Israel's most recent genocidal assault on Palestinian people and lands.

As engaged constituents and community leaders in the Hamilton West–Ancaster–Dundas riding, we are appalled that the Honourable Minister Tassi, our elected representative of federal parliament, has continued to voice support for Israel even as its violence in Palestine has escalated to genocide. At the same time, Canada continues to purchase and import Israeli weapons that are "battle tested" on Palestinians and allow arms to be sent to Israel via the United States.

As a public servant, it is Minister Tassi's duty to take accountability for the devastation she is helping perpetuate using Canadian tax dollars. Thousands of Hamiltonians have launched persistent public demonstrations in an effort to get her and the Liberal Government of Canada to act.

As a resident of Hamilton West–Ancaster–Dundas riding, will you join your neighbours in demanding that the Honourable Minister Tassi call for a full and immediate arms embargo on Israel?
