We, the concerned members of the Redlands community, parents, students, educators, and allies, are calling for the immediate resignation of Redlands Unified School District Board Member Candy Olson.

Ms. Olson has been exposed for sharing deeply racist, violent, and homophobic content on social media. These are messages that are in direct opposition to the values of equity, inclusion, and safety that our schools must uphold. Her actions have betrayed the trust placed in her by our community and demonstrated a clear inability to represent all students fairly and without prejudice.

There is no place in our school leadership for hate. We demand that Ms. Olson step down immediately to make way for leadership that reflects the diversity, dignity, and integrity our students deserve.

Join us in holding our elected officials accountable. Our children are watching. Our community is watching. And we will not be silent.
