I strongly support protected bike lanes in my ward.
As more and more Chicagoans choose to bike to destinations across the city, the need for better bike infrastructure is quickly becoming apparent. While some wards have made progress towards creating safer streets for cyclists to travel on, much of the city is still lacking. Unfortunately, many Alderpeople do not think safe streets are a priority. We must let them know that we do indeed want better streets and that we want them sooner rather than later.
Sending this letter lets your Alderperson know you care about improving bike infrastructure in the city, and that want to see them work towards making safe, fast, and reliable city wide cycling a reality.
