The state legislature is moving forward with a budget that funnels millions to unaccountable private schools while hanging public schools out to dry.

The Indiana High School Athletic Association needs to stand up for the public schools that make up the overwhelming majority of its participants; without public education, IHSAA could not exist. Our public schools are the only opportunity so many students have to participate in sports, and IHSAA leadership should make clear that it is opposed to the state's proposal to expand private school voucher access and create an ESA program.
