Almost five years have passed since the killing of 26-year old Said Joquin in Lakewood during a traffic stop on the afternoon of 1 May 2020. His killer, Officer Mike Wiley, had been involved in a previous killing of an unarmed Black man.

Mike Wiley continues to be employed by the Lakewood Police Department. Said's family demands that he be decertified, however, Lakewood and Pierce County officials continue to protect and support this cancer to the community. What message are you sending to the people other than acknowledging our lives don't matter?

DECERTIFY MIKE WILEY!! Said Joquin's life will not become a footnote in Lakewood and Pierce County's racist history.
