Keep Georgia-Style Voting Attacks out of Ohio

All eligible Ohio voters should have the freedom to vote: whether it’s by mail, early in person, or on Election Day. When it comes to elections, ALL Ohioans want a transparent, accessible process we can trust -- whether we live in a small town, suburb or big city, and whatever our color, background or zip code.

Unfortunately, extremists are planning to put up barriers to silence our voices based on what we look like, where we live, and our preferred method of voting. Just as lawmakers in Georgia have erected new barriers to voting by mail, Ohio lawmakers are proposing new legislation that would make voting more burdensome: dropboxes, early voting, and the freedom to vote in the manner of your choice could be in jeopardy. Black and Brown voters, students, voters with disabilities, low-income Ohioans, active duty military, and seniors are most at risk of having their voices silenced if lawmakers are successful in this shameful and unnecessary attempt to further restrict voting access.

On behalf of the Ohio Voter Rights Coalition Steering Committee thank you for taking action!
