Tell Port of Tacoma & Port of Seattle Commissioners to remove LNG (fracked gas) from their Clean Air Plan!

The draft NW Ports Clean Air Implementation Plan includes exploring “opportunities related to increased use of LNG by global ship fleet”. We need to urge them to remove LNG as one of the implementation strategies. Commissioners will vote on the draft plan sometime in November or December, and the document will be a guide for investments for the next five years.

LNG, aka fracked gas is not a climate solution and poisons the air near extraction sites and refinery's like Puget Sound Energy's Tacoma LNG refinery.
