Kickstarter: Stop the Retaliation! Reinstate our Teammates Now

On February 18th, 2020, Kickstarter employees voted to form a union, becoming the first major tech company in the United States to do so. Since then, we have bargained for two contracts.

On October 2nd, 2025, after months of stalled negotiations, we went on strike to guarantee a four day work week and a livable minimum salary for every employee at the company. We won a historic contract after 42 days on strike - a resounding victory resulting in the ratification of a contract that included ironclad protections against AI, a codified 4-day workweek, and an escalating minimum salary floor tied to cost of living.

On February 11th, 2026, management retaliated by terminating some of our most vocal and instrumental organizers.

We have filed grievances on behalf of all affected, along with multiple Unfair Labor Practices with the National Labor Relations Board against the company.

Please join us in demanding an end to this retaliation and the reinstatement of our coworkers!
