Access to higher education, healthcare, and job stability are critical for UAW members across WA State. However, our universities are under immense financial pressure, facing increased costs with stagnant or shrinking funding, and ongoing attacks from the Trump Administration.

Our state faces a budget crisis, and the WA House and Senate are considering ways to reduce costs- including furloughs of state employees (SB 5792), decreased state funding for higher education, and tuition hikes for undergraduates and slashes to student aid (SB 5785).
