LASD HOST Cleanup at Centennial Park
Venice2040, a coalition of Venice home owners, renters, business owners and locals, was created to address the local humanitarian crisis, the rise in crime and the lack of responsiveness from the City of Los Angeles to public safety concerns that are impacting the quality of life of residents, businesses and tourists in Venice.
Write a letter to Mike and his peers at the LA City Council to let them know that we want the support of the LA County Sheriff's HOST Team to compassionately clear the homeless encampment at Centennial Park and return the Venice Library to safe public use. The successful track record of the LASD HOST Team is what is needed to end the unnecessary suffering of the unhoused and all those affected by unsafe illegal use of public space.
