Canada has an ongoing arms trade with Israel, including weapons shipments to Elbit as recently as summer 2026. Canada has local suppliers from coast to coast that are sending weapon components to Elbit.

Elbit is not just Israel's largest weapons company — it is a cornerstone of Israel's arms industry, directly profiting from and enabling Israel's apartheid regime, genocide and occupation in Palestine. The company's drones and surveillance systems enable Israel’s precision bombing of residential areas, and its military vehicles and weapons systems are used in attacks on Gaza and in the West Bank. Elbit’s border control technology enables Israel’s siege of 2.3 million Palestinians, and its training systems prepare Israeli forces for carrying out ethnic cleansing operations in Palestine and Lebanon. They are a “full partner” of the Israeli Occupation Forces and are part of the military industrial complex Canada is heavily investing in.

Billet is a high-end complex parts manufacturer located in Ottawa, that has partnerships with defence contractors and governments. They recently shipped weapons components to an Elbit facility in Rehovot, occupied Palestine, where the Palestinian village of Zarnuqa once flourished.
