Oklahoma residents dying from a terminal illness lack the death with dignity option at the end of life. Modeled on the Oregon Death with Dignity Act, an aid in dying law would allow qualified, terminally-ill adult residents of Oklahoma to legally obtain a prescription from their physician for medications to end their life peacefully, in a dignified way, at the place and time of their choosing.
