Tell Chicago's Mayor Johnson and his Mayor's Office to save Promontory Point! Let Mayor Johnson know that you want input into what design and construction happens at Promontory Point. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the City (Chicago Dept. of Transportation; CDOT) and the Chicago Park District will begin community meetings about design plans and construction fairly soon. Tell the Mayor that you want the Point's iconic, historic revetment fixed, not destroyed, and you want real, not performative, input into the design and construction planned for the Point.
