M4A Support Resolution in the DC Council

The DC City Council is about to vote on a resolution supporting Medicare for All on October 5th!

If our nation’s capital passes a Medicare for All resolution, it will send a powerful signal to Congress and build momentum to support Medicare for All nationwide!

Local activists have a majority of the DC City Council signed on in support, but we need a final push with leadership to make sure this resolution passes when it comes to a vote on Tuesday.

Please tell your councilmembers to support DC’s Medicare for All resolution by participating in this email campaign. It only takes a few clicks! >>>>

All across the country, we’re seeing encouraging momentum in favor of Medicare for All. Places like Los Angeles, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties have all recently passed resolutions in favor of Medicare for All!

And it would be a huge boost to this nationwide movement for Washington, DC to get on board. Every Medicare for All resolution we pass helps us prove widespread support for Medicare for All and puts pressure on Congress to take action.

So please, take a couple seconds to urge write a letter to your councilmember to vote in favor of DC’s Medicare for All resolution. Your voice could be the difference in this vote.

Thanks for doing your part for Medicare for All,
