Make Swahili one of UN's official languages

Swahili-speaking Africans are left out of representation in the UN. Despite UN African headquarters being in the Swahili-speaking regions of East Africa.
We ask that the UN pass this motion and encourage more people to learn and use Swahili as one of the official languages.
We are tired of always learning foreign languages to accommodate people in our own home while the same is not reciprocated.
Making Swahili one of the UN's official languages is a first step to rectifying this wrong.
