Join the Mass Lobby for Trans Equality
The UK is at the forefront of a roll back on the rights and freedoms of trans people. What began with the Supreme Court judgment last year is tearing away the norm of inclusion and equality. The EHRC's new Code of Practice which is due to become law has made hard fought for equalities legislation into a trans bathroom ban. But it's not just bathrooms - the workplace, schools, community groups, fitness, healthcare and so much more have been dragged into this mess.
It's time to make it clear to the Government that they can no longer hide behind legal process and rogue regulators. The Government's job is to govern and we are demanding they legislate to ensure trans equality. We have to ensure our MPs do not silently usher in an era that destroys the lives and futures of trans people across the country.
We must take our voices into Parliament. We are organising a Mass Lobby on the 24th of June - a single day where we attend parliament en masse and make our elected representatives look us in the eye as we demand they stand up and take action. We ran a Mass Lobby in 2025 and it was essential in making MPs understand they cannot claim that we didn't warn them. It's helped us get more people on our side in this fight. We made history as the largest LGBTQ+ parliamentary lobby in history. We need to go back and get more MPs to act.
This form will allow you to invite your MP for a meeting at the Mass Lobby. You must be able to attend in person. If your MP agrees to and books a meeting you now have your chance to help turn the tide with the power of your voice. If your MP does not respond or declines, you still have this power, by coming down and being able to request an urgent meeting using a process known as greencarding.
By sending an invite to your MP through this tool you will receive all the information you need about taking part. We will provide you with guidance on what you may want to say to your MP and will have volunteers there on the day to make sure you feel safe. For those who may be restricted by travel costs, we have a limited travel fund which we can send you details about.
We know that you are tired of this fight, but this is our moment to make history (again) and fight for equality for trans people in the UK.
