The ongoing unparalleled atrocities in occupied Palestine are not part of a distant conflict. They are connected to the hyper-militarization of our region, our safety, our continued colonization, and our identities as Indigenous Pacific Islanders. The silence of our leaders is UNACCEPTABLE. Silence is complicity. This letter urges leaders throughout Guåhan (Guam) and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariåna Islands (CNMI) to stand up and demand a permanent ceasefire.
