Minnesota's legislative session is in full swing and they are currently considering passing the Packaging Waste and Cost Reduction Act (SF 3561 (Morrison) /HF 3577 (Jordan)).

Although that may sound like a good thing, unfortunately, at the request of chemical, plastics, and packaging companies, recent amendments have been made to this bill in the Senate that would actually lock us into our reliance on single use plastics and promote false solutions to our plastics and packaging crisis!

pass unless key amendments are made to fix the mess they've made of it.
