This coming Wednesday, June 15, the Moorpark City Council will decide whether to approve Hitch Ranch, a development with 755 homes--nearly half of which would be multifamily near transit.

The project includes:

• 427 Single-family homes
• 193 Multi-family homes
• 135 below-market-rate apartments (low- and very low-income residents)
• 23 acres for the city to develop additional subsidized apartments (plausibly 200 or more)

Here's how you can support it:

• Sign this letter by 4PM June 15, which will email Moorpark@moorparkca.gov
• Email Moorpark@moorparkca.gov by 4PM June 15, mentioning item 8A
• Register to give public comment by Zoom, and give comment at the Wednesday meeting, which starts at 6:30PM
• Give public comment in person at 799 Moorpark Avenue
