I am writing to you today regarding my deep concerns about DOGE and the lie about what the purpose of this "agency" is for.

DOGE was not “established” by an executive order, that is not an ability within the scope of the executive branch. Actually, that is Congress’s ability. It is actually operating as an arm of our government illegally.

DOGE does NOT need to access my personal information and data at the IRS or close the department of education to make Americans lives better or save money for them. DOGE does not need to hack into our systems to perform an audit, all he needs is someone with a calculator to do that. Even if he was really truly performing audits, why is he not at the pentagon who have consistently failed their audits for years now? They spend astronomical amounts of money on ammunition alone because they have no control or oversight over their spending actions. Many of the responses I have received from congressional members have stated the following:

Do you guys think I live under a rock? Do you think we cannot see what it is you are cutting all of our social programs for? It is clear republicans are DIRECTLY attacking these programs to gather funds to give billionaires tax cuts rather than require them to pay their fair share. It’s apparently better to cut our elderly population's social security funds that they have spent their entire life working for and putting money into rather than require people who have made more money than they can ever spend in one life time to pay their fair share. Apparently it is better for you to cut the health care for millions and millions of people, who are majority children, rather than ask Elon Musk to pay his taxes-- even though he gleans multiple government subsidies from OUR tax money as an immigrant to this country. Apparently it is better to infiltrate the Gaza Strip and reconstruct their lives and move them elsewhere after they have just experienced HELL for the last 77 years because a few people in Hamas want to stand up against Israel's cruelty, rather than ask Jeff Bezos to pay taxes as his civic duty to this country.

I don’t understand why you think it’s okay to cut DOE funding for our higher education rather than make these people pay appropriately-- which should not even be a question as they benefit from our labor on multiple fronts. I don't understand how this is even a question??? We can SAVE our social programs we have all spent decades sinking our money into if you would all just care about the American people instead of corporate interests.

I suggest you stop lying about the “audits” DOGE is doing— illegally, might I add. This “agency” isn’t real since it was not approved by Congress— renaming a random agency isn’t a legal way to create a new arm of the executive branch. I am a student of law and psychology, so you can’t say these things to me and expect me to accept this.

Not to mention, Elon musk is literally regurgitating Nazi rhetoric and Trump, the president of the United States, is tweeting Napoleon quotes, who was a literal french dictator:

Elon proceeded to acknowledge this tweet by signaling a reference to the 14 words, a white supremacist classic. Not to mention, JD Vance is out in Europe isolating us from our allies and making the rest of the world Anti American. Is this what we stand for?

Respectfully, Senator, open your eyes. This is not the America my grandfather fought for in World War II nor what he hoped to see— a South African Nazi commanding the President to take rights and our hard earned money l away from the people. If this was about an “audit”, why did they gut the civil rights department?

As an American, I reject the very Nazi principles we fought against. I reject the Nazi rhetoric at every turn— now representative Trevor Lee of Utah is recommending that LGBTQ flags should not be flown on university campuses, rather the Nazi flag and confederate flags are appropriate, according to HB77. You see, senator, this is a cancer to our country. If you continue to allow this and continue to defend it, there will be NO COMING BACK.

Please, recognize that endorsing this cancer will only lead to the destruction of every value and principle we stand for. Please recognize that you guys approving this and lying on their behalf will trigger something that cannot be so easily undone.

Is this the America you believe in? If so, then I don’t think you deserve your position as senator.
