Demand the Canadian Government Take Immediate Action to Support the 70+ Palestinian Students Facing Lengthy Visa Delays

Palestinian Students and Scholars at Risk (PSSAR) has reported that over 70 Palestinian students who have been accepted into Canadian universities are experiencing lengthy visa delays. These delays are preventing Palestinian students from immigrating to safety and pursuing their studies.

Amidst an ongoing genocide, every day these students are stuck in Palestine is another day they risk being martyred. Already two sisters, Sally and Dalia Ghazi Ibaid, who were set to start their PhD's at the University of Waterloo this fall were killed in December 2024 while waiting for their visa applications to be approved. We must not let these students down.

Fellow students and alumni, join us in DEMANDING that the Canadian Government take action NOW to rapidly expatriate our Palestinian peers to Canadian soil!
