NE Board of Pardons: Send Earnest Jackson Home

Attn: Members of the State of Nebraska Board of Pardons:

I am writing to you concerning the tragic case of Earnest Jackson. At 17, Mr. Jackson was convicted of a crime that someone else confessed to in a subsequent trial. Mr. Jackson has exhausted all of the appeals available to him under the laws of the State of Nebraska. We urge to you assume the sacred role that the Board of Pardons plays - utilize the authority to grant relief to individuals when errors or injustices have occurred. The case of Mr. Jackson is a grave error. He is a son, husband, and brother - let's send him home to his family.

I respectfully request that the Board of Pardons commute the sentence of Earnest Jackson and grant him a pardon.
